Losing is hard. Losing consistently is harder. Losing by a lot of points each game is the hardest. But does this make you a loser?
It may feel like it at times. You may question your self worth, your abilities as a player or coach. It makes you question why you are doing this day after day. Why do you put time and energy into a seemingly fruitless exercise?
And that’s why you’re not a loser.
If you are putting in the time. If you are working tirelessly to get better. If you keep believing that every little sign of progress is making you a winner then there’s your answer.
Sometimes just continuing the grind is what makes you a winner.
You may never see the wins or the championships but the ability to keep pushing on and continuing the journey of getting better is what makes you a winner.
