WALKER KESSLER OF THE UTAH JAZZ SET TO JOIN JUMP STOP ACADEMY BASKETBALL SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
Walker Kessler of the Utah Jazz is set to join Jump Stop Academy’s Basketball Summer Camp July 17th-21st, 2023 in Park City, Utah. Jump Stop Academy Founder, Brett Isaacson, has spent the last twenty years dedicating his time to young basketball athletes and bridging the gap between players looking to play higher levels of basketball and those looking to fuel their recreational passions.
Part of Isaacson’s mission has been to develop a space for players to join together from all experiences, levels of interest and communities to fuel their goals and learn the tools they need to take them to the next level. Isaacson said, “This camp will be an opportunity for young athletes to not only play for the love of the game, but learn from a role model like Kessler.” He went on to say, “Having someone of his caliber come speak to the next generation and play with them helps develop those essential leadership skills, making these players better athletes and pioneers in the process.”
Kessler will maintain an active and involved role throughout the duration of the camp, sharing his own journey in the sport to inspire others and help them remain driven to succeed when facing obstacles.“Giving back like this should be an essential part of any player’s career as I know I wouldn’t be the player I am today without the coaches and mentors I have had up until this point.” As part of the NBA, Kessler knows the nuances of the game better than anyone and can inspire participants to reach new heights, while using his own experiences as a foundation for his advice.
The summer camp will run from July 17th to the 21st of this summer. Each day, from 9 am to 3 pm, players can expect hands-on attention to their game and walk away from every session as a better athlete than the day before.
